Canned Food Drive

he National Technical Honor Society at Athens Drive is sponsoring a canned food drive and is asking all students and parents to send in cans of food.
Drop-off boxes are in the Library outside the Career Center office.
The deadline is end of day Monday, December 15th.
Suggested items include: soups, stews, meats, vegetables, and baby formula.
On Wednesday, December 17 the donated items will be used in the Second Annual CAN-struction competition-
The cans will be used to build structures that are judged for creativity by school administrators. Be sure to stop by the gym lobby to check out the results of the competition!
After the competition, the food will be taken to a local food pantry.
Athens collected over 600 cans of food that went to needy families last year, let’s try to top that number this year!
