February is Academic Integrity Month at
Athens Drive High School!
The second annual Stand with Integrity Scholarship Competition will be held during February with scholarship prizes awarded for original works in the categories of Graphic Art, Essay or Video Production based on the ideals of honesty and integrity.
Submissions are due end of class day on Thursday, March 5, 2015 with winners announced and awards presented on ATV on March 13th.
Share with us your commitment to honesty
Essay:
In 400-600 typed words describe an experience or situation when you were able to Stand With Integrity. What were the consequences? Why is having and maintaining personal integrity in all walks of life important to you? Is honesty STILL the best policy? Why?
Award: $150.00 scholarship provided by Joseph C. Peery, Jr. – Wells Fargo Advisors
Graphic Art:
Design an original image that illustrates honesty and integrity. Submit work on a labeled flash drive.
Image files should be no more than 3 MB.
Award: $100.00 scholarship provided by Smith Sinnett Architecture
Video:
Team of 2 students – produce a 30 second video on a labeled flash drive in a Quicktime file that promotes the ideals of honesty, fairness and integrity.
Winning videos may be exhibited publicly.
Award: (2) $150.00 scholarship provided by Joseph C. Peery, Jr. – Wells Fargo Advisors, and Private WRAL tour
