As some of you may recall, after the student assignment challenges of last year the Board committed to gathering community input at an earlier stage before any specific plans are developed. At our BAC meeting, we hope to engage with you in considering some scenarios related situations such as opening a new school, making school calendar decisions, calendar alignment, etc. We will also look for feedback in what priorities should be used when making different decisions. Student assignment staff will lead the discussion, and of course I will be listening carefully for your input.
In addition, I will be glad to answer any questions pertaining to the budget process at the meeting.
