]]> The new school year is just around the corner!

Summer vacation is almost overHere is some helpful information as we prepare for the first day of school

Schedules for 10th-12th graders were mailed out on Friday, August 7, 2015.

9th grade schedules will be available for pick up at the next freshman camp on August 17, 2015

If there are any concerns with your schedule, a schedule change request can be made online:

Criteria for a schedule change are the following:

  1. Enrolled in a course you have already completed and received credit.
  2. Enrolled in a course for which you have not met the prerequisite.
  3. Do not have a full schedule of 4 classes.
  4. Want to move up/drop down a level in a core class (Must have signed Release form if dropping Honors/AP course).
  5. Course needed for promotion and/or graduation

Please, keep in mind that schedules are tight and if you received the classes you registered for, including alternates, a schedule change may not be granted.

The school building will be opened on August 20, 2015 from 10:00 AM- 12:00 PM for students to familiarize themselves with the building and see where their classes are located.  Teachers, Administrators, and Counselors will not be available to meet with students during this time.  There will be students available during this time to provide tours to new students.  If you would like a tour of the school, please meet in the main office at 10:00 AM to be assigned a tour guide.

]]> You are invited to attend a brief general meeting of the Athens Drive PTSA on Thursday, February 12th, from 6:15-6:25 PM, in the ADHS Auditorium prior to the start of the Spring Open House/Meet The Teacher Night.

The Open House is a wonderful opportunity to see your students’ classrooms and meet their teachers for their second semester schedule!

The Open House runs from 6:30 to 8:00PM, with the PTSA informational meeting immediately prior to the Open House.

We hope to see you on Thursday evening!
