Regarding Athens Drive Magnet High School
Q: I have a sophomore at Athens and an 8th grader who will attend Athens next year. What classes are included in the Center for Medical Science and Global Health Initiatives for students who will be freshmen next year?
A: (From Administration) TBD. Being worked on right now.
Q: Can a rising Jr. join the Center for Medical Sciences?
A: (From Administration) Maybe, but have not thought that far.
Q: Do Honors Biology and Honors Chemistry apply towards the Center for Medical Sciences?
A: (From Administration) Like STEM, there may be some designated as Magnet; however, the overall belief is that all classes will take on some aspects of Magnet theme even if not “officially” designated as Magnet.
Q: The sign up does not list January 12th as an option for a tour. I’m interested in this
A: (From Administration) 2nd Tuesday of each month.
NOTE: Due to exams being held on January 12th, the January tour will be held on the 26th.
