Senior Madeline Denton won the regional student Emmy Award in the Music Video category for her Athens Drive Lip Dub! Our region includes North Carolina, Tennessee, and Northern Alabama. We are the only school in Wake County to win this year! (Enloe had two nominations in another category, but unfortunately, did not win). This is the first time we have entered anything from Athens. Judges from the industry evaluate each entry using the same criteria used for the professional Emmy awards.
Madeline’s video will now automatically be entered into a national competition. Those winners will be announced this Fall.
